**t20r** is a [numeronym](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numeronym) standing for _**tendencialmente**_ **próper** (as in _tending towards_ próper). 1. What is this all about?\ Imagine a moment in life which is truly [sustainable](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sustainability) in a deep and [holistic](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holism_in_science) way, one which would be [potentially replicable](https://xxx) by everybody in our planet without [jeopardizing the prosperity of the ecosystem](https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/957629/Dasgupta_Review_-_Headline_Messages.pdf) \[of which humankind is a part of\]. This is a **próper** moment. This site is the home for a long term project aiming to properly define what próper truly means. What makes an action be próper? Is a próper society even possible? 2. What would a **próper life** be?\ Most of what enables our daily lives is not próper, considering the amount of material resources, labour, energy and waste associated with [even the most mundane of our everyday processes](https://theecologist.org/2017/jul/05/human-faeces-shit-environment-now-making-entrepreneurs-flush). For example, if we depend in any way on electrical equipment, we drive the need for an [electric power industry](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_power_industry), which may force undue pressure on the ecosystem. When we take into consideration **all that is required if everybody was to do the same**, even alternative renewable energy propositions fail to attain próper status. Take the iconic solar panel: it still has to be built somewhere from some material and moved around the world until it reaches its destination (and then comes the moment it gets discarded). Perhaps the best would be to avoid the use of electrical power but if you are willing to abstain from the use of electricity in itself, this may not even be the most appropriate way of moving forward. After all, such a drastic transition would **not** be replicable by most people. Furthermore, a próper life must not only assure **appropriate sustain** \[air, water, food..\] but also enable **personal development** and the exploration of **fulfilling relationships with ourselves, with others and with the wider** \[time, nature, culture, [reālitās](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/realitas#Latin)..\]. A próper life enables the prosperity of the individual, of communities, of the ecossystem. Since prosperity is usually associated with economic growth we will refer to próper prosperity as **prósperity**. 3. What is the **way towards** a próper life?\ próper is an ideal vision of what we are aiming for. Being an end in itself, if we were to focus solely on it we could [fall into fundamentalism possibly leading to unsustainable commitments or even withdrawal from acting](https://ccc). Therefore we need to find a path towards próper. Enter **t20r**. t20r signifies what tends towards próper and is more about **posture and** **will** than about restrictive purism. It is mainly about **[continual improvement](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continual_improvement_process)**, looping over actions and evaluations, seeking to improve both marginally and paradigmatically, moving ever closer to a fully próper life. t20r tries to present the most appropriate way to becoming próper. so, t20r life = quality-time life while being as appropriate (aka \[truly\] sustainable) as possible. [t20r.cc](http://t20r.cc/) is home for a long term project aiming to properly define what are the characteristics of próper action (and non-action) in each of the **[matriz](https://www.t20r.cc/content/perma?id=7)**’s little boxes. próper action can be expressed as **replicable** actions, as in those which would be possible to be made throughout time by everybody in a sustainable way. In this sense, the negative impacts of such an action must be manageable by the complete ecossystem (of which humans are a part of). Therefore, if **actionImpact x k.worldpop < manageableImpact** is true, action is próper. \ \[k is a constant to multiply by the world population in order to take into account incoming population\] In order not to fall into extreme fundamentalism which may lead to nihilism, t20r is all about continual improvement, looping over actions and evaluations, seeking to improve both marginally and paradigmatically (as in action becoming a non-action), inching ever closer to a fully próper life.
